I’m still here
I guess this is the obligatory “I’m still using this” post.
Hardy was here to visit here several weeks ago. That was alot of fun, we ended up playing lots and lots of Dr. Mario and Tetris. I do love my modded Xbox…
Hardy and I saw ‘V for Vendetta’ together and the first thing we both thought when came out of the theater was;
“We need to blow up something! NOW!”
It was a sweet movie.
Veronica’s mother came the week after. That was fun, also. I know she misses her mommy so and was very glad to see her. She tried in vain to help us find a hope chest. She was very perplexed why a town called Cedar Rapids wouldn’t have any cedar chests. It’s a good question, to be sure. She brought us lots of food goodies, including two rice pies!
I did some good work on my truck this weekend. Cleaned the wheels up, finally. I can’t believe how bad I’ve let them become. Veronica and I drove around Saturday and went exploring. The truck was pinging like crazy, though. It’s driving me nuts. Maybe it’s the 87 pump gas, but something has gotta give. I’m even thinking about a sfi to mfi conversion to get rid of it. I seem to have come into a truck-tinkering mood as of late. I still can’t find any parts in the junk yards for the truck or the motorcycle to save my life, though. Look out Ebay, here I come.
